Summer/Fall CLASS SCHEDULE 2008

THE REGISTRATION PERIOD FOR ADVANCED CLASSES WILL BE July 10th-28th by snail mail registration only

Don’t forget that all advanced classes now cost $20 for members, as of Jan 1st 2008.

ADVANCED CLASSES

*PLEASE BE SURE THAT YOUR DUES ARE CURRENT, THAT YOU ARE A MEMBER IN GOOD STANDING, 

AND HAVE YOUR MEMBERSHIP STATUS CLARIFIED WHEN REGISTERING

TUESDAY Dates: Aug 5th, 19th, 26th, Sept 2nd, 9th, 16th, graduation/CGC on Sept 30th

6:00 Pm      Foundations for Open/CDX               Jen Grimm/Tammy Snyder  8 students 

This class is intended for those coming out of AKC Novice, or already have a Novice title, looking to start on training for Open                                                                 

6:00 Pm       CGC class            Chris O’Brien/ Sandy Hawkins         	8 students            

7:00 Pm      Foundations for Advanced Obedience    Ann Lynn              8 students

 This class is intended for the dog coming out of CGC or pre-novice to start building some advanced skills

While also working to refine heeling, recalls, fronts and finishes. Advanced skills may include but are not 

limited to retrieving basics, signals, drop on recall, go-outs, directed jumping, etc.

FRIDAY-AGILITY (MEMBERS ONLY)/Obedience 

Dates: Aug 8th, 15th, 22nd, 29th, Sept 5th, 12th, Graduation on Sept 19th 

**5pm    AKC Novice       Sue Yanoff/                        8 students max

         This class is intended and offered to those preparing a dog to show in AKC Obedience. It is designed 

as a preparatory class for those interested in showing at the Novice level. Skills for showing in Novice will 

be mastered/refined in this class. If your dogs does not already know all the AKC Novice exercises this class 

is not for you or your dog. Visit www.akc.org for details on what the Novice class entails.

6pm-7pm Open training on own

Space will be available until 7pm. Doors will be locked by 7pm, if no one there to open train

**Please note, due to pavilion cost these classes will be cancelled if not enough interest. We must have at least 5 people per class to cover cost of rental for the evening.
