Membership categories and Inactive/Active Status
New member:
Reinstatement: (within five years of letting membership lapse): Those rejoining the Club pay the annual membership fee ($30 individual, $40 family, $15 junior). They are inactive for the year, meaning that the fee for a standard session of classes, or Agility League, is $70; fees for other events (such as seminars) are $50 more than the fee for active members. Additional conditions are noted in the policies. Subsequent active/inactive status is determined by the person's activity in the previous year.
Life members: Pay no membership fees. Active/inactive status is determined in the same way as for any other member.
Continuing members: Pay the annual membership fee ($30 individual, $40 family, $15 junior, no fee for life members) for a calendar year before January 31 of that year. Active/inactive status is determined by what the person has contributed to the Club in the previous year (details in Policies). Active members pay $20 per standard class session and inactive members pay $70. For other events the inactive fee is $50 more than the active fee.
Fees for classes may be pro-rated if there are not at least six classes in the session.
All classes of at least 6 weeks, and Agility League, have the same fee.
Teaching certificates may be used to offset the required class fee.
There are no exemptions.
New member:
- Option 1. As a non-member, takes a first (beginner-level) class for $85 and a second class (e.g. Beginners II) for $70, and is then eligible to join the club on payment of the annual membership fee (dues).
